I was at Yorktown during the summer of '72. After getting out of engineman school I got orders to a 378 (the Cutter Sherman) then based out of Boston, Mass. I stayed up there for the rest of my enlistment. Sorry, I don't recall Bob Armstrong. Was he an instructor at Yorktown?George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-838085020802983098.post-51780618754350635712012-01-03T03:46:55.288-08:002012-01-03T03:46:55.288-08:00Hej Johannes!

It's been a while since I've seen Bruton Parish Church. I was briefly stationed at Yorktown while going to the Coast Guard's engineman school and lived in Williamsburg one summer but that was over 40 years ago!George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-838085020802983098.post-51546510184913078322012-01-02T17:14:37.736-08:002012-01-02T17:14:37.736-08:00Christ Church reminds me of Bruton Parish Church i...Christ Church reminds me of Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, Virginia.Baydoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00751866865203182109noreply@blogger.com
