This coming Sunday (19th April) is "Demo Day" at Severn Sailing Association. SSA is one of the premier dinghy racing clubs on the east coast and demo day is a community outreach event in which folks can show up at the club, check out different types of racing dinghies and learn about how to enter our sport. Details concerning the time, etc. can be found here. Unfortunately, this is the same weekend as Brigantine YC's spring work day so your old diarist won't be attending Demo Day. Perhaps Tweezerman will stagger down to the club and provide us with a full report.
